The Nominating Committee helps identify qualified candidates for open Board positions and presents those candidates for election. This committee supports strong leadership, smooth transitions, and continued community involvement at Barns Mill Lake.

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) reviews exterior home modifications to help preserve the appearance and character of the community. This includes items such as paint colors, structural additions, landscaping changes, and other visible exterior updates.
The ACC process helps ensure proposed changes align with the community’s design standards before work begins.
Social Committee

The Social Committee plans neighborhood events and activities that bring residents together. From casual gatherings to community celebrations, this committee helps create opportunities for neighbors to connect and feel more at home at Barns Mill Lake.

The Landscaping Committee helps care for the community’s common areas and green spaces. This includes making landscaping recommendations, supporting seasonal improvements, and helping with beautification efforts around entrances, mailbox areas, pet stations, lake areas, and other shared outdoor features.

The Treasury Committee supports the Treasurer and Board with the community’s financial planning and oversight. This includes helping with budgeting, expense review, financial reporting, and efforts to keep Association finances organized, transparent, and responsibly managed.
Welcome Committee

The Welcome Committee helps new homeowners feel at home from the start. This committee provides helpful neighborhood information, answers general questions, and encourages new residents to get connected with the Barns Mill Lake community.
